Bralette Fit Guide

What does the right fit look & feel like?

The Cups

Fabric is hugging your breasts comfortably and smoothly. You may need to scoop your breast tissue to sit in the cups.

The Underband

Should feel supportive and sit level to the floor - the underband provides 80% of the support so it’s important that it’s a snug fit without being uncomfortable.

The Straps

Straps are adjusted for you, they can be lengthened and shortened, they should feel tight enough to stay in place but not too tight that they dig in.

Comfort

No need to adjust, no distraction, feels good to wear all day, boosts confidence, promotes good posture, doesn’t cause back pain.

We always recommend adjusting your bralette to fit you. The strap slides and hook and eye are there to make the bralette support and fit to your size and shape.

frequenty asked questions

Using a soft measuring tape, wrap it around your torso directly under your bust. Make sure the tape sits straight and horizontal all the way around. It should feel snug against your skin but not tight. Note down the measurement.

Wearing an unlined, non-padded bra (so the measurement reflects your natural shape), wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust — usually across the nipple line. Keep the tape straight and horizontal, resting gently without compressing. Note down the measurement. Then use our size chart to find your size.

Our bralettes follow standard UK bra sizing, we recommend purchasing your regular size.

Our briefs are sized XS–L while our bralettes follow standard UK bra sizing (e.g. 34B). View our full size chart page to find your size.

If you’re finding the cups are wrinkling or gapping, we would recommend going down a cup size.

Your underband should sit horizontal to the ground and lie straight around your body. If it is riding up at the back but the cups fit well then it could be that your underband is too big and we would recommend trying your sister size. This would mean going down an underband size but up in a cup size to keep the volume the same size. Find more information on your sister size in our full size guide page.

Your straps should be shortened or lengthened to fit you, they should be tight enough to stay in place but not be too tight, that they dig in and leave marks on your shoulders. If your straps are leaving marks on your shoulders, this suggests your underband may not be giving you enough support and we suggest trying a smaller underband size.

If even after tightening your straps, you find they still fall off. We recommend trying the Plunge style bralette, where the straps are positioned more centered. The Balcony style straps are positioned wider.
